Friends Ledger is a private record-keeping application. It does not process payments, connect to bank accounts, or act as a wallet or lender.
Information we collect
- Your name, verified Gmail address, and profile photo from Google.
- Financial records you create (transactions, repayments, settlements, adjustments).
- Audit entries for actions you perform.
What we do not do
- We do not send emails, SMS, push notifications, reminders, or follow-up messages.
- We do not access Gmail messages, Google Contacts, Drive, or Calendar.
- We do not process real payments or connect to bank accounts.
Gmail-based linking
When you add a contact by Gmail address, the system uses that address to connect the contact record to their account when they sign in with Google. No invitation email is sent.
