Purpose
Friends Ledger is a private record-keeping system for tracking money lent to and borrowed from friends and relatives. It is not a payment processor, bank, wallet, lender, or payment gateway.
No financial services
- The application does not process real payments.
- It does not connect to bank accounts.
- It does not send money, hold funds, or settle obligations externally.
No communications
The application does not send emails, SMS, push notifications, reminders, overdue alerts, or follow-up messages. Due dates and overdue statuses are displayed only when you visit the portal.
Accuracy of records
You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you create. Shared transactions can be confirmed or disputed by the linked participant.
